Has the reason Lesnar wasn't on RAW come out yet? Lesnar's 2-year contract is done after the RAW after Mania right, this disagreement is over his new deal...but surely he's contracted to work whatever events WWE have left on his current deal, so then WWE decided just not to use him after flying him in?

Bauer and Pollock brought this up on their podcast. Bauer made note, based of his time in WWE, that once Lesnar clocked into the building for that event, he is contractually covered for having satisfied the terms of his agreement.

It doesn't answer your question, complicates it if anything, but as it stands now, Lesnar is only contractually obliged for 2 more dates in the run-up to Wrestlemania.

Haven't listened to that podcast yet so maybe this point was made there but what Mr. Saturn says totally jives with Lesnar's famous mentality about leaving his home. He ain't doing it for free!

Interestingly Rey is in the Alumni section now:

Stephanie McMahon is going on Twitter under #asksteph to answer fan questions. There is, of course, absolutely no way this could go wrong.

Ya, he looks like the world's tallest midget. I think it's that they're full-body cutouts but not taken head on or maybe using a wide-angle lens.

It’s the whole WWE main roster vs. NXT women’s portrayal that has become a hot topic the past few weeks. Given those portrayals, Stephanie did completely open herself up by giving that response to Arquette. But who would have thought any of the women would dare do it? But one of them did.

And by doing so, I guess that tells where she is mentally about WWE right now.

The story, once USA Today picked it up, caused the twitter of Vince McMahon to respond, saying, “We hear you. Keep watching,” with the hashtag of “Give Divas a chance.”

Stephanie responded in very un-McMahon after a public attack like fashion, writing to Lee, “Thank you. I appreciate your opinion.” Clearly, she had no other way to respond past ignoring everything, because any kind of a defense would open the story up more and bury her and the company, and the story had gotten too big to do that.

One person familiar with the situation as it was going down said Mendez wrote what she did on her own, it wasn’t an angle and the company was completely blind sided by it. Stephanie was absolutely furious at being shown up and made to look bad by one of their own employees, but that seeing the big picture, Vince McMahon ordered Stephanie to respond in the way she did. The only thing the company could do under the circumstances was to diffuse the situation as quickly as possible, because stories about unequal treatment of women starting to get out are can’t wins, similar to the company’s quick attempts of late to quell charges about being racist to Latinos.

Pretty confidant that AJ is leaving once her contract is up. At this stage it doesn't matter what happens, she looks good regardless. She either gets the changes every Diva wants, or goes out standing up to someone who could actually make a difference if she wanted.

The whole article is good, but too long to be posting here.

Rey is officially future endevoured. Without them saying "future" or "endevoured"

    Rey finally got his release.
PWInsider.com contacted WWE regarding Rey Mysterio's status with the company as he was moved quietly to their Alumni section today.
WWE responded with the following statement:

"Rey Mysterio is no longer under contract with WWE."

So, Mysterio's long run with the company is officially over.

One of the greatest of all time in my opinion shame the way his WWE run ended and shame the way a lot of fans seem to turn on him for no apparent reason in the last few years too.

The way he was being booked led to people being a bit fed up of it all, constantly beating up and comers with these surprise wins but never being gave anything remotely like a chance with guys the company rated more highly. The Rumble last year is also a gross misrepresentation of people's feelings towards Rey imo; considering he must've been looking at leaving around that time, it's hard to not look at the decision to book him 30th instead of a heel (Wade Barrett would've been ideal, for example) as an effort by WWE to take him down a peg or two.
The guy was absolutely brilliant when he was allowed to be, even up there near the end*. He had a fantastic run on Raw of great matches every week before they decided to destroy his knees altogether by forcing him to work for August/September of that year.
WWE treated him absolutely terribly and I wish him nothing but the best in the future.

*I'll recommend the Elimination Chamber match from 2011 as an example Rey's great work from recent years. There's a portion of that match that had me as gripped as some of the biggest and best matches ever.

They're reasonable points but i've seen a lot of horrible stuff like a uncomfortably large amount of people taking pleasure in seeing him get hurt and mocking his injuries.

But if anybody wants to go down a Rey WWE match rabbit hole this amazing post on another forum is a great help and most of the matches are easy to find either on the network or YT and Dailymotion http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/28581-rey-mysterio-jr/?p=5631776

Seth Rollins appeared in the final segment of "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central tonight, interrupting the final segment as Stewart was signing off for his "Moment of Zen."
Static filled the screen, followed by a shot of Rollins, who challenged Stewart via a split-screen. When the comedian began firing back with a pro wrestling style promo, Rollins appeared behind him.

Rollins challenged Stewart to "bring it" and Stewart joked that he would, but he had to go "find it first" and would bring it on a later date.

This led to Rollins challenging Stewart to appear on Raw this Monday in Newark, NJ, which Stewart agreed to. The show went off the air with some good natured scuffling as Stewart attempted to "overpower" Rollins.

Nah no point, Vince would only force us to turn it into a Roman Reigns Appreciation thread instead.

I wonder where this Stewart stuff is going so close to Mania? Surely it will just be a case of Jon stirring the **** between Seth and Orton?

If he does appear at Mania, hopefully it'll just be to cause a distraction for J&J security to allow Randy hit the RKO on Rollins.

If the Stewart angle really takes off it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to put the title on Rollins and get as much mileage out of it as possible.

The Adkinsons had a successful family business. But it wasn't a typical enterprise passed on from father Jack to his five sons. It was wrestling, and they were the Von Erichs, bringing entertainment across Texas in the 1980s-and heartbreak to themselves.

4FW in Swindon in the UK are the first Indy promotion to book Rey. Apparently he is asking for $20,000 per date:

I don't think they paid the 20 grand as the economics/psychology of the UK scene is different. A lot of big name stars on the indies wave their booking fee partly due to the escalating costs of Transatlantic flights and in exchange for keeping all the merchandise table and photo op money in a very hot Wrestling market. Some take the booking as a working holiday with their family too.

The WWE deal sounds better for some reason.

The real winner is Brock is what I'm trying to get at really.

He has two compaines that really could do with him working for them.

He 'll get a huge payday no matter which one he goes with.
