Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What's NTBackup? We aren't magicians here and it'd be handy if you could provide [a lot] more information. For example, what error message(s) is/are showing up?

NTBackup is the built-in backup program that comes with Windows XP.

My first guess would be that you're trying to backup more files than will fit on the USB drive. How many files are you trying to backup/what's the capacity of the USB drive?

    Entire OS on to USB

...because it's an OS - that's why you can't do it. You can't just copy files and expect something of that magnitude to work. ther are system an hidden files that are tied up with registry entries (registry entries that wouldn't be copied).

If you have a dual-boot computer, would OS#1 be able to do a complete backup of OS#2?

Sounds like imaging software would be a better fit for what you're trying to do.
