easiest thing to do is decide on the night. see who turns up.. get it for an hour and a half if you can. that way everyone would get a game and be able to last.. 2 hours would be a bit long for some! if there is two many you can split it into either 3 or 4 teams. rotation every 3 baskets. that way nobody gets cold.

Will this be taken seriously as in keeping score and fouls ect...

If its taken seriously you will be called for travels and fouls all over the place! wouldnt even finish the first 5 minutes! :P

I'm in for whatever day. Two hours isn't really that long with once there is 8 or more per team - it'll probably take at least 15 mins to get warmed up and sorted out before starting. Definitely think we should keep score and call fouls, traveling etc., although as long as the game is clean enough don't see much need for counting fouls.

Derek said he would play but he's not on boards to confirm.

    Possible pints afterwards?

When are you thinking of having the game, midweek or on Sundays?

I was thinking maybe a wednesday - if we stick to the people who have replied on this thread for a one off wed one and then involve other peeps for a weekend one? what you think?

I still have to float the idea with the wed crowd though!

as for refs. you could get a different person to ref each quater. that way nobody is stuck with it and everyone gets to play at some point or another. two refs from each group.. id do it for one quater without a problem..

I could ref - I used to ref the blitzes in school...

Actaully, I take it back - telling 13 year girls that they fouled is a tad diff than telling grown men that!!

I am so tried I think I may die.

Vinnie, you could easily ref! I'd nominate you.

Ill be there to play not ref :P We can sort out the refs on the night anyway, when will you be talking to the other guys?

Here are a few low-resolution photos along with a complete link from tonight's basketball at ESB Sportsco. Sorry, but no photoshop tricks to make anyone taller, faster, or a more accurate shooter, etc.
Looks like I need to get closer to the action or get a better zoom lens.
