UPC browsing and ftp problem

    Hi there!

    I have a problem in the last 2 days, but i'm not sure what is it. When i open my browser and i try to open the following page http://www.f1hirek.hu, or this on http://myseedszerver.ath.cx:30331/gui/, after a few secs it says the connection timed out. Can anyone else open it, who is not a upc user?

    I have upc 10Mbit.

    Anyone knows what the problem is?

    both sites are down as far as I can see. i've tried from 2 different proxies, one of which is in the US and neither one is working, so it's not a UPC issue.

    if you check http://www.wormly.com/test_remote_ping it seems like they are both down and if you check http://www.ip-adress.com you can see that both sites have the same ISP.

    Yes it's says unreachable! But you know what is strange? That i my friend from Hungary can load this 2 pages without a problem. I just don't know what could be the problem. Maybe they had a problem with something!

    maybe some kind of routing issue between hungary and the rest of the world.

    there doesn't appear to be anything you or upc can do about it though from what i can see. :(

    Yeah i thinkd you're right. I hope they'll fix the problem soon!

    The second asks for username and password.

    Yeah everything is fine now. There were some problems with the international bandwitch, but they fixed it!

    It seems that that problem is back on, at least for me. Yesterday ftp worked fine, today ping works but ftp is down on any ftp site (including all public ftp servers) it just says that connection is refused.

    Can someone have a look at it lads?
