trying to find out a bit of info here

looking to maybe get one of the easy pass sensors, ill be using the M1 toll quite a lot, twice a day for a while.

i googled easy pass and it directs me to http://easytrip.ie/

checking their rates, http://easytrip.ie/?page_id=17 it says the charge per car is €1.90

this is how much it costs to go through the toll normally

i always thought that these tags gave you a reduced rate or is it simply that its convenient?

Looks like the only discount is on the M50.

The 'discount' only operates on the M50.

There used to be a discount for an introductory period, but the was a few years ago now. You pay a monthly rental for the tag as well. Convenience is the only reason for having one.

have a look at www.tolltag.ie to compare prices. Probably no different but worth a look anyway.

Its not a discount, it was 2 euros before they opened the barriers. They put it up to 3 euros for none tag euros to force everyone to get a tag and pay 12 euros rental fee per year for the privelage..

And keep away from EFlow, its a pathetic company.
I have recently moved from them to easytrip and easytrip are much more professional.
