Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

what size thread (are you talking about front or rear cap)

if its a rear cap - should have one lying around the place.

It does not have to be a Sigma Cap, they all fit. My Nikon 18-200 has a Tamron cap on it right now.

Doing a quick search it seems that this lens has a Filter Size of 62mm. So just get a gereric 62mm Cap.

If it's the rear cap then a generic Canon rear cap will do.

    Cheers, its the front end.

So any sigma cap will do? I tried the cap from my 50mm prime and it doesn't fit :(

No ..... Any 62mm Cap will do .... it could be Sigma, Canon, Nikon, Googly Wump Plastics Corp ...... as long as it's a 62mm it will be fine.

Ah cool, I thought you meant the 62mm was for the rear of it.

Ebay suggests they are pretty cheap, which is good!

I got one in camera centre in blanch for my tamron, although it isnt great on the lens alone as the edge isnt deep enough but sits perfect on the filter, only €7 as far as I remember
