celtic poker tour

    does anyone know what the story is with celtic poker tour and why theyre not doing it anymore/. also where is the money that was for the big final? is it not being played and where does the money go if not?

    I asked the same question about a month ago. Nobody replied with any actual knowledge of them still being in business or not.

    I would be interested to hear if they are or not.

    yeh i asked sumone who worked for them and as far as he knows theyre not doin it anymore which if true is out of order cos theres alot of money in the pot for the final that seems to have gone walkies

    as far as i know they retired and bigslick took over his tourie final i seen wrote somewere here

    Am I right in thinking any CPT winner got a monkey ticket to the final as part of their prize?
    Was there many?

    i doubt it because big slick is a small enough operation and the celtic poker final guarantees 100k and the other final guarantees 25k,my frind is in the 100k one n my bf is in the top to qualify for the 25k one,theydwant to start givin out answers,its really bad form

    yeh they did my friend got one,theres 34 given out so far,theres alot of money relating to this

    1k tickets good few of them out , 54 i was told but don't know how right that figure is, they are now tickets for the bigslick 100k guarantee game at the coursing afaik

    thanx nicky,but what happens to the 25k that was for thetop 20 in points? they eally made an arse of it not tellin anybody or posting it on theyre website! ......p.s what night you heading up to the ipo?

    hes quite a big lad lol just kiddin but making that kind of money is going to be hard for a not so big operation,i heard a pro (no names) giving out stink about a tourny they ran near where i live,20k starting stack,hour blinds starting at 25/50?? who am i 2 say anything anyway lol,just sayin :)

    think he get the 100 players he needs for the tourie hes got 50 plus from celtic already paid up .:D:D

    20k starting 1hr blinds 25/50 nice tourie format lol

    Although CPT are not allowed to advertise on here, I think a thread like this is grand, especially since there seems to be some money missing that was taken from prizepools if they are not in operation anymore. I suggest a PM to BIG_SLICK_POKER as the first port of call as Neill probably has more info about CPT or the lack thereof.

    Hi All,


    Not getting into a big Debate on this as i dont know much on it , Celtic Poker Tour are not running at the moment and i dont know if they will return as that is a choice they will make .

    We met about the coursing event and it was decided that they would not be involved in the event and we decided to run the event with Paul Lucey of Atlantis Casino in Carlow . Beause there were so many seats left in the Celtic League Final , It was decided that this would be a good time to add these seats to this event as they were undecided if the tour was continuing .

    All players who won €1000 seats these can now be used at the Coursing Festival . Here is the thread

    If anyone has anyquestions relating to the event itself u can call me on 087-2828744 or pm me .. If it is related to Celtic Poker Tour im afraid i have no answers on that ..

    No but im sure that will be announced also , Probably by text when they decide what is happening with the cpt .. I do not have any info other then what i have been asked to run .

    Our main event we would expect anything in the region of 150 players
