Anyone on for a beers either Weds 14th or Thurs 15th this week?

I have started a new thread to try and catch people who might find the very long social outings thread a little hard going.
I know it's short notice for this week, but hey.. being spontaneous is fun!

Cmon guys... it will be fun :) I wanna broaden my friend base in Cork!

Bugger, can't do either night. Other half has her 30th this week, and you'd swear it was on MTV with the amount of planning going into it. I'd be well on for doing something later on in the month though.

It's never too early to plan for xmas beers, cos of all the office parties. Planning should begin on January 1! Amateurs!

Am in America this week and next but will be there with ye in spirit. deRanged / 440Hz, I have been struggling with some camera techniques (e.g. macro focusing... I have a lens that does it but I must be doing it completely wrong because I can rarely get it to focus correctly) so am still up for a photowalk on my return later this month :)

    e.g. macro focusing

what apertures are you trying? you know depths of field can be ludicrously small with macro shots.

Ok I'll go back to my original suggestion then hehe -

    Tom Barry's 8:30pm tonight?

We should try finalise it before lunch so that people who might be offline later know where to go...
