Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You do realise that he's the primary reason why they are struggling to qualify in what should have been a pretty much guaranteed qualify?

Why though? What's he doing wrong? (I'm not that familiar with their situation)

I do wonder why they gave him the job now since he doesn't have anything like the required experience. An absolute genius as a player but he has no track record at all as a manager. Too hot-headed aswell if you ask me.

TBH, despite their crap form I'm starting to get tempted by the price and Argentina. 2-1 like. Over 2.5 goals at evens looks like free money as well

    at evens you say

sounds like free money to me

78 players in 11 games and last week he played 3 defenders and 7 midfielders at home in a game they had to win and somehow made it look like a 442

would love to see the Argies get through.

Think it's a nailed on draw.

And add that he picked 78 players and still Riquelme and Walter Samuel were not picked! Two 36 year olds on the pitch at the end of the game. One making his debut and Martin "The Seal" Palermo who had not played in 10 years for them

he cant pick Riquelme because maradona had a fallen out with him

    Riquelme is their Fabregas imo

And the other 65 odd players? :D

Had veron on the pitch a few weeks ago too.

Unlike ireland Agries have 2 proper world class players for every position, their wiki page for the squad takes about 5 minutes to load ffs :D

That was my point, his chaotic style of management is needlessly preventing them from playing the player who used to make them tick

What Headshot said. Click on the match betting tab and there should be a small blue television logo. Click on that and it will take you to betfair video. You do need money in your account to watch it though. The reason that whenever using Betfair you should always leave a cent in your account

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 9,648 Mod ✭✭✭✭mayordenis

have like 11 cent in it - but seems to be be blocked on the work network - thanks anyway though

There are also another two stadiums almost literally across the road belonging to lower league teams so if you're standing on the top tier you could get 2 or 3 matches for the price of 1!

Can only get a stream in Chinese. The World Cup wouldn't be the same without Argentina, or Maradona. Come on the Argies!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,680 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

bar the first 5mins it has been a poor game I think

not enough of free flowing play and the pitch looks dreadful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,414 ✭✭✭✭MisterAnarchy

Absolutely dreadful 45 minutes of football.
Not even one half decent chance or shot on goal .Brutal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

Argentina really do look absolutely awful and bereft of any spark.
Messi hasn't been in it aside from one or two decent moments.

A WC just wouldn't be the same without them at it but judging by this performance and the one at the weekend they don't deserve to be there...

What does that Chile score mean for this? Uruguay are handling the Agrentina attack with ease. A bit of magic Mr Messi if you please.

I have the Chinks muted so can't hear the ref. Is it just me or is he slightly biased toward Argentina. Far be it from me to suggest that FIFA are paying him a fortune to make sure they get to SA...

A few wicked tackles going in but otherwise boring as hell.
