    Hi all

    Am sure this is answered but cant search hence;

    As per title I'm looking for a link to the data sheet where the requirement for the No.s of WC's required in a small cafe. I have an old photocopy of it if I could put hands on it.

    The related query is in a small cafe with 60m2 gross area and with probably about 18-20 seats, will I get away with one staff WC & one universal male / female / disabled WC.

    Thanks in advance

    Agree with Syd . 1 public WC is pushing it imo

    Just found this

    http://www.nehb.ie/nehb/publications/reports/foodpremises.pdf

    Depending on where the premises is - your initial thoughts may not be far off the mark .

    To be super sure - send a layout for approval to the relevant env. health officer

    Just to clear up my own question I think
    The requirements are in the regulations

    (EC) Regulation No 852/2004
    NSAI I.S. 340:2007 Hygiene in the Catering Sector

    They cant be downloaded, for free

    And the direct answer to the question is that under 25 seating spaces, 1 WC is sufficient.
