Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

I was at the Italian F1 race this year and as far as I know there was some sort of autograph session on the Thursday I think.

Has anyone been to these before? If so, if it's on a Thursday, does your 3 day pass allow you access?

Just wondering what the story is with where its on and how you access it etc. Also, do they have the autograph sessions at every race?

    Cheers

Is it easy to access the circuit on a Thursday? I know you can get 3 day tickets but those only cover Fri, Sat and Sun. I don't know if it will allow you access on the Thursday.

Generally, you are right that 3-day tickets guarantee access to the pitlane walk and signing session. But for example this year at Silverstone there were distributed only 200 special pass just for signing session. Anyway that was disaster. The drivers were signing just for 15 mins and lots of people at the end of the queue had no chance the get autographs. IMO, the best way is to wait near the paddock gate over the weekend. But you must be patient, as the drivers leave the paddock between 18-22. Photos from signing session can be viewed on my website http://f1-drivers-autographs.com/index.php?sec=6.

A friend of mine was at Monza this year and talked to the security guy who gave her a timetable of signing sessions so she was able to be in the right place on right time. She collected approx. 30 autographs of drivers and staff.

Just checked out your pics. Did you somehow have a paddock pass? Lot's of those pictures seem to be in the paddock which I thought was off limit to the likes of us regular folk :)

Only pictures from Belgium are from the paddock. That was funny story: on Thursday I was walking around the track in the forest and saw one of the gate was totally opened (somewhere near Turn 17). Then I and a freind of mine have entered at the track and went to the paddock through the Pit Lane entry. We spent there around 4 hours collecting autographs and after that were escorted to the nearest exit by security. I'm sure everyone would do the same and go to paddock ;)

Rest of these pictures are from the public-access place only.
