hi guys,
i was in a small place on dame street think its grub or gruel or something like that and they served the best bangers and mash i have ever tasted. The following week i went in and they where offering 'roast in a roll' which was also beautiful. on both occasions they served an onion gravy (with the bangers) or an onion jam (roast roll).
it had a sweet taste and was a dark colour but was gorgeous. Anyone any ideas how i could go about making this gravy/jam ?
