Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im lookin for some good "Text to Speak" software recommendations. I need it to convert pdf/word text to audio. Is there any freeware versions available and has anyone had any experience using such a programme. Also if there is not a free verison maybe some of you have used a similar programme and could recommend if that program was any good?

Windows vista has text to speech built in , and xp might also, check under ease of access or accessibility in the control panel. Not the most advanced app out there but might suit your needs. If supposed to be for sight impaired folks so cant be that bad.

The problem may come with regards the pdf. The software will only work if the pdf contains text and not an image of text if you follow. Basically if you can highlight a word in the pdf it will work.
