Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great framing of the shot - and great colours.

    Many thanks everyone. :)
I think the leaves at the top, and their colors, and hense the framing of the shot adds greatly to the whole composition.
Its around East Ferry alright, not sure if its Marlogue, ie. I dunno area names. I'll post a map location later. ;)

Background to the shot. I had an hour to kill that day so I decided to 'ramble', I came accross this scene and decided to try and frame it ! It was a dull day, so light wasn't great. I used an old Nikon prime lens, 135mm, f5.6, set to infinity, 1/250sec, ISO 100. Very little processing, apart from trying to extract/boost the natural colors that were there.
Note on map: X marks the spot.

If you were in the woods on the other side of the river (near the marina), you were in Marlogue (aka Marlowg, Marloige and any other possible variation you can think of) :)

The Autumnal feel to this is just great - yellows, browns and deep greens, nicely framing the scene. I think part of its appeal is that you can almost sense peering through the hedgerows to see into the scene. It kinda brings you there. Well done. As usual, I can't add thanks to my original opening post so +1 to the above.
