Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

no.1 is brilliant, how did you get the dof just right on the player ? the ambulence medics are slightly out of focus and the crowd behind and nicely blurred so your eye is drawn straight to the player who is looking straight back at us . . . . brilliant brilliant brilliant

Hogan, fine pics cept for the cropping #1 I'd take a bit of to the right and a bit of to the left and that way it would still be rule of thirds, I'd leave a bit more space on top and you def cropped of too much of the bottom, assuming you actually did get some bottom!

#2 I'd crop a wee bit of the right and in contrast to the 1st pic you've taken too much of the top. Players head is like being hit.

An hour and a half it took me to get from Liffey Valley to CP. Bloody traffic!

Ended up forgetting about it and heading home.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,584 ✭✭✭PCPhoto

it normally takes 45-50mins .... so it was an extra 30+mins....not that bad considering PINK was at the O2 and Game was on at Croker (and Kevin Smith played Vicar Street)

did you use the quays (most people would have been on the quays) ... took me about 20mins to get from Four Courts to Croker (around 5.30ish).

just back from Kevin Smith myself...WoW ... the guys a legend - gave hoganpoly my press pass for the game( and some camera gear :P) ....and very impressed with his pics.

    Tell me about it.

Has to rank with the worst games I've been to (of any team at any level).

At least we all got some decent photos.

Nope, turned off for Liffey Valley, had to meet someone there at 5. And I go via the North Circular. Although I did end up going home via the M50.

It was dire .Watched my lads under 10s last week they lost 6-5 but it was better than this as they were actually playing football the old fashioned way - look up find a player , pass the ball to a team mate, move into space, call out look for the ball, when you get the ball control it , get it out from under your feet and look to pass it off ...Oh and actually score some goals cause thats how you win games

But its never good to see a player get a serious injury. CRUCIATE ligament? 2nd Time ??
    Rolands before his injury
