Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Possibly the stupidest question ever, but is it possible to connect yr xbox directly to a PC monitor without a PC?

I thought maybe this is possible given that the xbox is kinda a computer in itself...

You'll need an xbox 360 vga cable.

Yeah you need vga lead, the sound outputs are red/white phono. IIRC an adapter to 3.5mm (headphone type jack) also comes with it.

I tried it with a Dell 2405w which is not a bad monitor, and wouldn't really recommend it. The colours look a bit washed-out, and you seem to notice the jagged lines more easily. To me, the games look a lot better on a HDTV, colours are more vivid and the anti-aliasing is better. I don't play it through the monitor any more. The resolution is fine, and it's playable, but not really ideal.

Did you set the VGA color mode to "Expanded"? I have a DELL 2405FPW too and in every other mode, it does look quite washed out but the expanded profile is not bad at all, certainly usable.
