Do you like Irish music? :)

This year the Temple Bar TradFest will celebrate its fifth birthday in style with an expanded programme featuring many free and family orientated events. TradFest is a much loved annual festival which takes place each January in Temple Bar in the heart of Dublin City, Ireland.

TradFest brings Irish music and culture to the area and has grown in size over the past 5 years and now includes headline concerts, free events, photography exhibition, films, a substantial family programme, a colourful parade and lots more. The Temple Bar TradFest was voted Best Traditional Music festival at the recent Irish Festival Awards.

Included in the line up for the forthcoming festival is the Kilfenora Ceili Band, Matt Molloy, John Carty, Arty McGlynn, Finbar Furey, Noel Hill, Tony Linnane and others.

Complimenting these pioneers of the tradition, the festival also includes some of the most sought after, internationally known young performers such as Beoga, Téada and the sensational, all female group, Líadan.

Temple Bar TradFest is something that you do not want to miss, weather you live in Dublin or if you are visiting. Get yourself a programme and celebrate the Irish culture with the entire city!

    Dates: 27th – 31st January 2010
