Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

repairing XP from the recovery console

I'm trying to repair my XP install using the recovery console on a disc but have hit a brick wall.

Once I select repair I'm brought into a DOS screen and asked which install I want to repair (I only have the one so I just need to type 1 here).

Once I do that I'm asked for the admin password - I enter that and then all I get is "c:\windows>".

I'm not sure what command I need to enter to start the actual repair - I can't see anything obvious in the list that comes up when I type 'HELP'.

Does anyone have a link to a walkthrough for this kind of situation? Last time I repaired it I don't remember having to jump through all of these hoops.
