Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ...where's SectionF this weather!?

    16 Oct 2009 Cork City 7:35 Bohemians
    16 Oct 2009 Dundalk 7:45 Sligo Rovers
16 Oct 2009 Galway United 7:45 Derry City
    16 Oct 2009 St Patrick's Athletic 7:45 Bray Wanderers
17 Oct 2009 Shamrock Rovers 7:00 Drogheda United

    16 Oct 2009 Limerick 7:45 Waterford United
16 Oct 2009 Monaghan United 8:00 Kildare County
    16 Oct 2009 Shelbourne 8:00 Athlone Town
    17 Oct 2009 Mervue United 7:00 UCD
17 Oct 2009 Longford Town 7:30 Sporting Fingal
17 Oct 2009 Wexford Youths 7:30 Finn Harps

Few tough games in both divisions, can see Bohs beats just over coming Cork and I can see Drogs getting something out of the Shams. Can't see Pats getting anything more than a point from Bray.

Pretty straight forward in the majority of the 1st division matches, Shels, UCD, Fingal, Mons all to win, then I'd be saying a draw in the other two matches.

You've gone and jinxed it now :(

Tough game for us and we're missing Jayo up front, I'm gonna say 1-0 to us with the goal coming from a set piece.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Hopefully Cork can do us a huge favour and we beat Drogs.

Goind down, going down, going down....so are they, so are they,so are they :(

I don't really want Bray to go down, but I want Pats safe by the time we play them.

Can't even think straight about Rovers on Saturday, let alone predict it. I've got three new converts along with me on Saturday for the first time too. So that's a hiding for Rovers, no doubt.

I think Bohs will take Cork.

Misguided if you think the liquidators will go after Bohs for any monies. Bohs outlived Carrolls companies, job done by the bohs board dragging the other case through the high court was basically done to outlive Carrolls companies. So far it has worked.

Draw at Tolka. Bare bones in the striker department, with only the aging snooker player available to play.

As is Deegan. I reckon Cork will nick a draw. We'll scrape a victory over Drogheda but then draw at home to Cork on Tuesday to open it up again :(

City Vs Bohs will either be 1-1 or 0-4

I've a bad feeling about tomorrow. Hope I'm wrong. Probably just nerves.

For Rovers, this is the 'easiest' game on paper since Bray...which is why it has me worried.

Athlone just lost 6-0 at home to Finn Harps. Surely Shels should beat them with even nobody upfront

Come to Shels with me, probably be a few goals, as Athlone, who we're playing lost 6-0 last week.

    Pats vs Bray will be a turgid affair I'd say, both clubs trying to avoid relegation.;

Also, Tolka is a nicer stadium than Richer.

We could meet in town beforehand?

Me too. But someone has to get points! I hear Twiggy could be out. Also, for some strange reason we've been suspension free for 2-3 weeks, I've a funny feeling that their piling up and will come back to haunt us. Chambers to score first anyone??? Off to Tallaghtfornia......

Drogs rolled over I thought. Certainly not the team that came to Tallaght in the league and cup already.

Hope that's not Bray sunk. I have a soft spot there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 992 ✭✭✭fh041205

Drogs gave away a silly goal to start with and then it all went wrong from there. Same as last week except Bohs really put the boot in where Rovers sat back and settled for 2-0. Can anyone explain how Sives didn't see red for hitting Gaynor in the face? I'm genuinely confused about this but I'm starting to think that I've seen it wrong.

Rovers no great shakes but they didn't have to be. Barrett looks unfit and wasted a lot, should have scored 2 or 3. Two centre backs very solid and I'm a big fan of Sean O'Connor. However, once again, we have no strikeforce to hit back with.

Poxy Aertal, had the UCD match finished at 1-1 so I start dancing around my mates living room with my lovely cold bottle of moosehead, then I get a text saying it finished 2-1, so onto the phone to the brother to check the internet and well poxy Aertal was wrong.
