Hilarious! I told my husband to watch this balloon going at 30 km/h thousands of feet over Colarado that seemingly contained a 6 yr old boy (like he would survive in a balloon filled with helium BTW).
He started watching and the first thing he said was that 6 year old is hiding in his garage ****ting himself because he let that thing go, he's not in that! Always trust a man with an older brother that got up to these kinda things a few!? years ago... Sure its a story for the 6 year olds 21st hope the family is recording :)

Although I smell a rat, Americans can be attention seeking whoring entrepreneurs, who filled the balloon with helium ??

the dad didn't even thank the police or emergency services! had to be told by a reporter!

I smell a rat, already booked on to morning talkshow in US

    Hope he gets down safely.

But the helium process could take a long time.

lol i knew a thread on this would be made in After Hours. For some reason this made me think of the episode of The Simpsons with the astroid that's about to his earth and Bart makes the Skinner ballon. When I saw the ballon coming down and the guy catching it. I immiedately thought of Skinner saying "noooooooooooooooooo"

Prez sez school is for losers. :)

    Tossbag or total airhead.
Richard Heene told reporters gathered outside his house that the experimental craft was designed so people could pull out of the garage and float above traffic on the way to work.

Marc Friedland, who lives nextdoor, described Richard Heene as always tinkering on interesting things, even if Friedland couldn't grasp exactly what their purpose was.
"They're unusual, yes," Friedland said. " But they're great. We like them a lot."

I can't believe people though this was true, have you seen the balloon? There's absolutely no way it would have lifted an inch off the ground with a kid in it ffs!
