Irish Resident - eligibility to work in EU

I hope this is the right place to post this, if not apologies all round...

I am Australian but I have Irish residency (marrried to an Irish citizen) and I have a Stamp 4. I am looking for work and it is probable that I may have to work in the UK or elsewhere in Europe. Does anyone know if my residency here allows me to work in the EU?

Thanks for the link - my confusion with all the advice I have read is the term citizen, which I am clearly not. Does a resident generally fall under the same rules for working?

From that link I got the impression as long as your husband goes with you, you'll be allowed to work.

I am planning to get fly in fly out work why my wife remains in Ireland. Sorry - I should have mentioned that in the original post
