The the topic of this thread is to propose who you, the average user, would select to be a boards.ie administrator should our dictator of benevolence deem your opinion worthy enough to be taken into account. You'll have to give reasons why you would support this person personally and why others at large would support them. I'll get the ball rolling.

    tbh

I like his style, he's entertaining and an easy read. He knows how to make a point in a brief manner. He's been around a good long while at this stage and has proven himself able to voice an opinion without alienating people. He's smarter then the majority of users posting. He isn't a sheep.

The community should support him because he never comes across as being in it for the power, but rather in his position as moderator out of a sense of caring for the forums he mods and mods well. He diffuses situations rather then escalating them, and isn't afraid to act out side the conventions of normally or even good taste.

Thats Boston's seal of approval / kiss of death for tbh, what's yours?

You have far too much time on your hands, sir.

According to inside sources, tbh hasn't mastered the rusty trombone as of yet and is therefore unsuitable to become an administrator.

I'd second tbh actually. Ruu another one off the top of my head. Though thinking about it I wouldn't like either to become admins. Might reduce their good influence on their individual communities. Them and others like them are far more important as contributors and mods than they would be as admins IMH.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I can't speak for Ruu both afaik he's other commitments which preclude him from being heavily involved. The question is, can a user be the full trinity, user, moderator, adminsitrator. I think some of the administrator have pulled it off nicely, Trojan, Beru, Spectre, while others have become increasingly detacted from the community and solely focus on the admin role, Gordon and Perhaps WWm (Though he will always love After Hours) . I think tbh, would pull it off nicely as the titles he wears seem rather secondary to how people respond to him.

I'm far too volatile. I'd probably go on a massive purge of forums, users and moderators if I ever gained access to Administrator rights.

I once had eleven Rock Hydras.

I gave them away when I left australia.

    I miss them.

Most users I would say already are one.

Not as good as the thread made about me years ago when I was a normal user, asking for me to be made smod :pac:
