Posh Tonic Water

Anyone know if you can get 'natural' tonic water.
People go on about the quality of gin and then pour fizzy, sweet, artificially flavoured soft drink in on top of it.

It's a but like raving about a whisky and drinking it with coke!

Anyone know of any good brands - you can get lots of quality lemonade so why not tonic?

I haven't tasted it myself but have heard that 'fever tree' is supposed to be good, sainsbury have it, not sure i've seen it in dublin

Good point but on the other hand I find the flavour of the gin shines through quite strongly in a gin and tonic - but maybe that's cause I'm quite heavy on the gin - Bombay Sapphire all the way! (followed closely by Hendrick's)

I use the little cans of Schweppes Original by the way but would love to try a better one!

Gin with sparkling water and a squeeze of lemon, happy days. No added crap

has to be Schweppes original and has to be from a can. Tried other brands and bottles and nothing tastes the same or has the same "fizz". Pitty cus those little cans cost a fortune.
