Get saved messages from one phone to another?

I had a samsung phone but I'm after getting a new phone now- a sony ericsson. I have some saved messages in the 'my folder' part of the message inbox but when I put the sim in my new phone the messages are still on my old phone. Is there a way of getting text messages from one phone to another or are they just trapped…

Is there a way of getting text messages from one phone to another or are they just trapped within my old phone forever? There's a 'move message to sim' option but it's not available for messages in 'my folder' and I can't get them into the main inbox either. It also won't let me bluetooth them.
Any help appreciated.
