Hi, I'm not sure if this in the right place. Feel free to move:)

My broadband provider is Last Mile.
At the moment it is hooked up to the home PC, but I have just bought a laptop and I need to buy a router.

Last Mile do not sell routers, but they said I need to buy one that has WAN and PPoE capabilities. I know next-to-nothing about routers.

I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what type of router I need, or where I could buy it. Even a link would be great.

They're just using big words to confuse You :D

You need a router with a wan port (sometimes called cable router), I've not seen any that don't do pppoe. I can recommend this Linksys one
