Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Disk Problem?

I have a second HDD in my PC with about 100GB of data on it which I can't access. Windows shows that about 100GB is used but when I open the drive in explorer I can only see about 2GB worth of files. No files are hidden.

The Windows disk check only seems to get to a certain point and then stop.

Can anyone recommend a tool which could correct whatever issue is stopping me from seeing all the files?

    Thanks.

You could try using an app such as WinDirStat which would show you where the space is been used up.

You dont specify which version of windows you have so here are options
    for XP and Vista

As it stops at a certain point its most likely a bad sector on the Disk.

    XP
Run Chkdsk /R at a command prompt to try and repair the bad block - It might take some time.

    Vista.

go to programs - Accessories command prompt and right click and select run as administrator then use the same command line chkdsk /R to fix it.

    Pat.
