Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Took my Fuji FinePix S5600 out last night and couldn't seem to get good light trail shots. They just came out with a white light covering the whole screen. Couldn't make out anything. Is it that my aperature was too high? I didn't get time to change it because of my battery.
    Cheers...

You'll need to stop it right down, i.e. increase the f number up to 22 or 32 or what ever it goes up to. Also drop the ISO to its lowest setting.

Stick the camera on a tripod and put in it manual mode.
Start with exposures about 1/4 or a second and see how it looks. Increase this up through 1 to 10 seconds from here.

Was messing about with light trails for the first time yesterday. I think with a bit more practice there's a good shot to be had.
