Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi..

I've added photos to a web sharing site about 2005 and I can't remember which one, and I've lost the original photos. Can anyone remember any sites that were popular back then?!

    Thanks!

Yahoo! Photo were quite popular back then too. They then shut down & transferred images to other services. If you did not do the transfer by a certain date all were deleted.

Other names that spring to mind is Image Shack, Fuji & Kodak.

    A couple I remember:

    Shutterfly.com
    Photo.net

Although I think photo.net is more of a forum?

Glad you got them, similar happened to me once with over a years worth of family shots, including the first shots of my then 1 yr old girl. Laptop took a knock and I hadnt backed them up, couldnt be recovered, thankfully I had uploaded all the keepers to mypix so I printed all 1700 of them out to keep forever:D I love happy endings.
