Outlook Express Denied??

Hi
I have a laptop with windows Xp. I use hotmail as my email. In last wk when i try to send an email to certain companies from outlook express it wont send them saying 'Access to account was denied verify your user name and password are correct hotmail server error 998' etc.

What can i do. I dont use outlook express just hotmail but when i send emails to certain companies outlook express pops up to write email in.

Would really appreciate any help or advice

If you mean Outlook Express opens when you click on a send email link on a company's web site then that is normal. The email link is set to open your default email client. If your default email client is set to Outlook Express, then that is what will open.

Sorry I didnt explain it properly. When i for example try to send an email to an estate agent and i click on there email address and write email and then try to send it the above msg error (my first post) keeps coming up not allowing me to send an email. What could it be

You could just copy the email address you're sending the email to, and use it in your web based hotmail account.
