Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Don't think it makes much difference, as long as the cable is decently made - gold plating would be little use on an optical cable though....... ;)

    No difference whatsoever and the gold plating is just marketing nonsense. The only problem I've had with some optical cables is the connector not making a secure connection with the equipment. I've often had them fall out easily. I prefer coaxial as the connection there is usually tight.
