Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Does anyone know where I could get good quality a stormtrooper costume before Halloween?

    I was just going to create the exact same thread I am looking for one too. I do know that www.littlestarparties.ie do a storm trooper costume but it does not look to be very good quality. I have seen plenty on line but would like to see one in real life to verify quality before buying. Can anyone out there help?

    You will most likely not get a "good" stormtrooper costume before Halloween. You have to contact the people that make them (under the Lucasfilm radar might I add!), invest enough time for them to think that maybe you're not a LFL lawyer looking to hang them, and then they will have to make the armour. Most of them work full time so finding the time to make your gear can be difficult for them, and then you have to assemble it - which will take weeks if you're really talented and months/years if you're not.
    You could buy a full suit of armour from www.sdsprops.com but it will cost you around £1200 and probably wouldn't be ready for Halloween either.


    This is my sandtrooper costume. I have probably around 2 grand and 2 years worth of work in it - it's almost the way I want it:D

    hey yank in eire you outfit looks super fair play to ya!!
    im a vintage collector and these would sit nice in the coner but then again 1200 pound would buy me some nice vintage 12 backs or a esb 3 pack form the vintage line, ah well i can dream

    super outfit well done! :-)

    I just heard that Forbidden Planet on the Quays in Dublin have Stormtrooper costumes for about €90, not sure about the quality but.

    Thanks for your help guys, dont need to get one now, just found out I am on call Halloween night yippee for me

    yank in eire that suit looks really good, the biker scout suit looks good too, a bit too expensive for me though :)

    Yeah, that's the major drawback to this hobby - almost none of it is cheap!!:P
