Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was wondering if anybody knows how to setup the sound output on that model. I mean, all the drivers are there, and the sound works fine if I plug in a headset but it does not come out when the headset is unplugged.
On some PC, you get the sound out from the PC itself.
Any help will be much appreciated.. :D

Sounds like a driver issue,re-install your sound drivers (most likely from RealTek)

Also, out of intrest, are you plugging the headphones into an audio jack on the front of the PC or one on the motherboard (at the back)

Also, about the sound coming directly from the PC...a long while ago, yeah. but not nowadays (*Remembers playing Dune II with motherboard speaker sound :p )

I dont think this is a driver issue as the Pcs are all new and it does not show up as not functioning in the device manager.
I plug the jack in the front of the PC -
The sound works without plugging any headset or speakers on HP dx2400, which is the model before the dx2420 - so that is why I was wondering if that works on the latest model..
can it be that there is another type of driver that will do? I think on that one, it is a realtek audio output driver..
