Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

Going to a mates birthday this Saturday. Usually just wear tee's and jeans out, but said I'd dress a bit more interestingly as a bet. It's pay day this week for me so will have a bit of cash to wander around town with. Was looking around brown thomas' mens dept today but didn't really see anything that tickled my fancy.

A shirt and smart trousers won't really cut it I don't think.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Details; I'm 6' 2", average build, red hair. Skinny jeans aren't my thing at all. :pac:

    Kindly,

    will

    Meggings. Thank me later.

Seriously though, I think nice trousers, a shirt, maybe a waistcoat (or a jacket if you're feeling fancy) and accessorize the hell out of it. Hats, scarves, pocket squares, watches, pointy shoes, cufflinks, ties. There are so many choices!

    Accessories really make the outfit.

look no further than a leather jacket with tweed patches, juxtapose the usual tweed jacket with leather patches :D

yeah was thinking of a nice thrilby style hat, but no clue where to get one. Someone mentioned burtons and clerys.

Clerys would probably be a good bet, there's also a hat shop in Stephen's Green SC and another one I can't remember right now... I think Topman might have had some in recently as well. I love a man in a good hat

I personally think this is fabulous, but I think it's just the feather I adore
    here

    Another nice one

Aw, who's Birthday is it, Will? :P

If I were you, I'd check out fashion sites online ; River Island, Topman, Urban Outfitters etc and see what's out there, get a feel for what you like, before heading to town.
