Like the one in Cork down the quays, Franciscan something or other. Class.
Or the Porterhouse ones in Dublin, excellent.

    Franziskaner. Excellent beer:)

The Porterhouse is great. I love the strong Brain Blasta ale in there, it'll blow yer head off:eek:

We could definately do with a pub in Limerick that does international and obscure local beers. You'd really get sick of drinking the same mainstream crap all the time.

Some good suggestions here, and mine will repeat some of them.

    A city centre cinema

    A new Quins

    A new Javas

A good range of retail outlets to make a proper shopping area.

    A bowling alley without scumbags

A new music venue/club, maybe something like the Royal when it had Boogie Wonderland.

A small cinema that did nothing other than show older films, say from the 1940's to the 1990's, so you could catch films on the big screen that you are too young to have seen that way the first time round.

Either revamp the belltable a little or get a second quality town centre theatre venue.

    More street theatre/street musicians etc.

Get the guys who did the grafitti art on the Dock Road to brighten up run down spots or to do art in the windows of closed businesses.

Some kind of financial aid for Limerick FC to allow them to get their own ground and promote them heavily to get the ground rocking for games.

Better lighting on O' Connell Street, maybe something similar to how the main street in Cork is lit, as it would make the street look far better if it were better lit.

Move the Richard Harris statue to a better location. Maybe put it on the roundabout by Shannon Bridge.

More walking tours like the ones that were going from Brown Thomas, but maybe add a few extra locations to the walks, plus tie in local businesses to the more touristy walks.

A visible Garda presence on the streets day and night, especially footpatrols.
Surely four gardai per shift could be spared to do a footpatrol on O Connell Street, with a pair walking each side of the street in the opposite direction to the pair on the other side of the street.

A Judo and Sambo wrestling club. :)

Oh and feck out all those people who have nothing nice to say about Limerick even though they use the place for education on all levels, jobs, hospitals ect....

Last things Limerick needs are more pubs, coffee shops and retail stores.

    Limerick needs:

To put more effort into sports other than munster rugby
    To stop whinging about "scumbags"
To get back that community spirit we lost sometime during the 90's
Proper FREE sporting facilities (basketball, all weather soccer, a skatepark with a roof (so it can be used for more than 2 weeks of the year))
    Less one-ways
    Less dodgy politicans
A park in Raheen (on the way i know but lets see when, the sign says "work starts 2009" i think it meant to say 2019)
    Less taxi's
To get those out of use cranes by tk maxx to be taken down
To kiss the opera centre goodbye
