Since the ipoker update last week I'm unable to open either PPP or Boyles. I got in touch with support at PPP who told me to uninstall, delete all files that ref PPP and download. I did this for both clients and while they both download, the client freezes when trying to open and I get the message not responding. I've done it all again for both clients and included extensive searches to delete all files with any reference to PPP, Boyles and ipoker as well as residual files left over from previous ipoker clients and also temporarily disabled the firewall but get the same results. A friend of mine told me last night that he has exactly the same problem.

    Anyone able to help?

Is it a windows error that tells you its not responding, are an error on the client itself?

change where the location where your nstalling it to.Maybe make a new folder call it "test" install from there and see what happens.

If its vista right click on the installer programm and select run as administrater.

Also there is a problem with Vista ive seen where it downloads a file and before its finished it just says complete even though the full file hasnt downloaded, this will inevitably give you an error.

I fixed the problem myself although i cant remember how but id suggest updating IE or trying another browser like Firefox and also running windows Update via Start > All programs > Windows update

Does it tell you the file size before/while downloading, if so check this against the size of the file it did download and youll know if its that problem

After I wait for a while with nothing happening, I go to windows task manager where I see the not responding message.

The error report shows the following

    szAppName : casino.exe szAppVer : 1.0.0.1 szModName : hungapp
    szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000

    And the files affected are

    C\Temp\WER86b6.dir00\casino.exe.mdmp
    C\Temp\WER86b6.dir00\appcompat.txt

    I use XP and IE7

I've since re-done everything and used a TEST folder as suggested as well as clearing all temp files and cookies followed by a reboot before downloading and still have no joy.
