My 18 year old negotiated this deal by 'phone with Dell. She rang an 1800.. number on their Irish Site and was put through to England. The original quote came back in sterling - so when she complained about this they gave her free delivery. She told them her budget was €500, so they built this one with her budget in mind.

I got my 10 year old one for Christmas in Hardley Normal. It was €350 in the last "MASSIVE WEEKEND BANANZA SALE!!" Its from emachines, dont have the full spec as its up awaiting the 25th, but do remember it had 2gig ram, 250 hd,sure the processer was above 2ghz, build in webcam, wifi, came with vista basic. Its decent enough for 350.

Get her one of this for only €250 from Argos (or £199 Argos UK:mad:).

Nice little netbook for school, comes in pink, too.
