Having calculated out a D1 rating for a dormer dwelling, build '94, no changes have been made to original build - just wondering if other similar dwellings have got a D1 rating. (As no changes to original work much of the inputs into DEAP were default values.)

Just thinking if no work has been carried out to original dwelling, the ratings for a similar build dwelling within the same year should have similar ratings

Most will come in around D1 and D2. However heating systems vary from house to house. You can ahve as much as 10% difference in the efficiency of a boiler which makes a big difference in the rating.
Also many houses don't have the hot water tank lagged: this one item can be the difference from one catagory to another.
