1 Year in Abu Dhabi

I was jsut offered the chance to move to Abu Dhabi with work for a year. anyone living there or have any info? I've been there a few times this year (never more than 4 days a time) and didn't get to explore it too much (too hot for me :) ) anyone able to offer me something better?
