Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you like FPS online, don't hesitate to pick up ODST, because of the 'Mythic' disk it comes with. It's easy to complain about Halo because it's so popular, but bungie's online infrastructure (bungie.net) and customisation in game are peerless.

I second this. Seriously, try out games for yourself instead of listening to peoples opinions here. Also burning, don't forget to mention that halo has roughly 800 to 900 thousand players online daily (24hr). Hmm it must be because its crap like so many people said here.

Borrow, rent or pick it up cheap to try it out.

and matchmaking is painfully slow , a hell of a lot slower than other titles on the 360.

I've had the opposite experience tbh. Gears is painfully slow at times. Fair enough Call of Duty gets you into a game fast, but it's not 'matchmaking'. I've never played against similarly skilled players, usually against lv55 on prestige 10!

In Halo 3, if I enter a ranked lone wolves match I know I'll never be out of my depth!

And millions of flies eat sh1t. Doesn't mean it tastes good.

Agree with you on the last point though.
