Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey guys. I'm doing a 1 year portfolio course in Photography in Dundalk. We had an Assignment for Urban Landscape during the week, so i took a trip to dublin to try get some nice images.

I was most happy with this one and was hoping to get some C&C :) Thanks in advance!

very nice - might it suit being rotated slightly counter clockwise?

Very well done. Like the solitary figure and the reflections from the wet path.

I do find the tree on the right draws the eye, as it's the brightest highlight. Thus it becomes a distraction. Maybe see if you can tone it down a bit and clone out the white line above it to the right.

I like it as well. The person makes it different to the 'usual' long exposure night shots (well done that he hardly moved). And of course the wet pavement and therefore the reflections.

The tree is ok for me but I agree with the light above on the right.
And I'm wondering how it would work with the person not bang in the middle?

Hey guys, Thanks for the all C&C :)

Im Just outta bed so gonna try out the cloning out the light and toning down the tree once i wake up a bit! ;)

I also wondered if it would have worked better had he not been right in the middle.. But i couldn't re-do the shot as it was about to start raining and i had to go catch my bus back to Dundalk :(

I was actually worried at first the fact that he was smack in the middle kid of ruined the shot. What do you think?

Nice shot! From the trails it looks like a car and a bus right? If the trail at his shoulder was longer and inline with the top two, I think it would add to the shot and make the trails more balanced. But thats just been picky! And you can never place the trails were you want them exactly anyway.
