Good brand of external hard drive

i need to buy a new one because the old ones on the way out mostly i need it for: photos videos lots of music couple of programs school work im planning to buy one off eBay cos they seem cheaper, but i want to get one that will last for a while....

Everyone has their preferred external hard drives, mine is Western Digital.

I have 3 My Books - 500gb, 750gb and 1tb, I also have a 320gb Passport and also the Media Player and I dont have one complaint about them!

I personally wouldn't recommend buying off ebay. I always have the fear of fake/refurbished drives. For me stuff like photos are very important so I would pay the extra and buy from Komplett.ie or Dabs.ie!
