    Hi

My KEF PSW2000 subwoofer has developed an annoying humming noise. I bought it online from Germany a few years ago so it would probably be difficult to get it repaired there.

I have actually had it switched off for sometime now as the noise is too loud. But I'd really like to get it repaired.

Does anyone know where I could get it looked at in Ireland?

    Thanks in advance for help.

    Max

By any chance have you changed the way your system is connected to the wall recently? If so, you might have whats called a 'ground loop' problem. I had it before with a subwoofer. Do a google search for more details but its basically when your system has more than one path to ground. Try having everything connected to the same wall outlet. (through an extension board obviously  )
If that doesnt solve the prob then its probably something to do with the sub itself.
