Weekend away in Cork - accomodation wanted!

My girlfriend and I will be travelling down to Cork for a friends 30th. Can anyone recommend a hotel that is central, cheap and cheerful. i.e middle of the road hotel, no frills but does the job! Your help is much appreciated, thanks, Ed

Where is the party on? Cork is a big County. If it is in the City, Jurys Inn is handy but no frills
