standing in the middle of a reasonably long line at gamestop in clarehall. The line at tesco's is at least twice as long. But tesco have been selling it for at least 10 minutes now.

Just back from picking it up in Kinsale Rd. Smyths in Cork. Didn't have a pre-order, hardly any queue. €40.49 with loyalty card.

Got it! Tesco Waterford for €45. About 15/20 in the queue, no problems at all.

Just back from Tesco in Carlow. Strolling around the store waiting till midnight and an announcement came over the speakers at about 23:55 letting all customers who are still in the shop to make there way to the checkouts as the shop is closing. Since when was Tesco in Carlow not a 23 hour shop. Anyone know what time the none 24 hour Tesco's opens at?

I am so fed up I''ve been talking about this game for the past week non stop and my mother wouldn't bring me up to tesco to get it... I'll have to make a trip before school in the morning and it better not be sold out .lol

HAHA i said i would go out and see what the buzz was like......had no intention on getting it tonight....didnt think i would! Gamestop in balincollig was crazy packed and xtra vision is only preorders i heard. So then i said i would just check tescoe in wilton...why not like. Wasnt it there and hardly any que for 45 euro. So i have a long night of gaming ahead!

Don't know about Dundrum but Tescos in Arklow have it for sale for Xbox360, €44.99 for the normal edition. No preorder necessary, just walked in and bought it 5 mins ago.

Picked mine up in Tesco's Lucan, even for a small store there was about 30 people looking for it we all stood around the game section chatting about what prestige we were on WAW and most of the lads down there were buying it on PS3, there was a big rush to the tills about 12.05, they actually had them behind the tills, I grabbed mine and I was playing at 12.20 for an hour on multiplayer, pretty good, the jam on the screen when u get wounded is a bit annoying

Lol I did a bit of shopping there to kill time before I headed to Smyths, even checked the game aisle just in case around 11:30.

I went down to HMV to get it at 12 and i was given guitar hero 5 for nothing!! freaking sweet!!!

haha, for anyone at the game dundrum launch, i was first in queue lol! it was pretty depressing actually, i got down early ish cause i had some shopping to do in tesco, then i saw absolutly no one was queuing so i sat down and set up camp :P, im pissed off i didnt get anything free for being first tho

I was in that queue! Took an hour to get my copy. Grrr...

Headed to Tesco Ballybrack at around 1120 but there was around 40 people or so hanging around. Was told earlier in the day that they only had 10 copies for each format. So headed into HMV on Grafton Street. Was only about 15 or so in the queue. Was home by 1220. Delighted. The game is amazing!

Crazy that some people waited an hour in line! I went to Smyths Bray at 12:15 and i was home with my game at 12:19!

Walked in, said Xbox 360, handed cash, walked out.

Perfect midnight launch if you ask me!

I left Bray at around 1115 and there was a fairly long queue outside gamestop. When i came back from town, around 1230, after getting it out there, drove past gamestop and there was close to 80 people still queuing!

If I knew that I would have gone to hmv, I ended up in smyths off parnell street. Which was a painless a smooth affair. opened at 3 minutes past 12, was fifth through the door, second served, paid and left.

home by 1230.

Was at HMV Grafton, fairly quiet, say there was only around 25 people in the queue. Shills from Game were dressed as soldiers trying to get people down there too. Was at something else in town so couldn't check out different places. And annoyed that it is 8 euro cheaper in Smyths!
