Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys,

So me and a friend are flying to Australia for a holiday in Jan. On our way to Oz we have a 12 hour stop-over in Frankfurt. We arrive at 10 in the morning so we have the whole day.
Has anyone any suggestions of what to do? (both females aged 23 btw)

I have been to Frankfurt plenty of times as I have friends leaving there however it is a very financial city and not very interesting! It has some nice places to visit though to pass away the day. You should go to Romer square which has alot of old style german houses and buildings and is nice to walk around. The Cathedral is nice as is the Opera house which you should check out. Nearby is the shopping area called Zeil which is pretty good for clothes. Sachsenhausen is like temple Bar with narrow streets and loads of bars and is generally very touristy if you want to go there for drinks. I would recommend walking along the Maim river in the evening/nightime (Frankfurt is very safe btw) and checking out the Skyline which is impressive.

There is plenty of museums if you are into Art and History as well. It will probably be cold in Frankfurt in January so it might be an option :)
