Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just saw in this week's Aldi leaflet :

    35mm film or slides
    5 mpx images
    3600 dpi
    €60

Medion are usually fairly decent quality for the price, aren't they?

There's a thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055518059 about two pages back about this. And no, general consensus (not just on boards, wherever these junky things are sold) is that they're not even worth the low price you're paying for them.

Discussed here recently in the thread from when it was last for sale. Piece of junk.

its not really a scanner, its a cheap digital camera with a slide attachment.

you'd be better off getting a slide attachment for a lens instead, or a cheap flatbed film scanner, I'd recommend a canon 4400f or 8800f(adds medium format and dust/dirt reduction but otherwise same spec as 4400f)

I bought one of these the last time they were on offer. Very poor quality.:(
