Internet security for poker players

Just wondering what people are using to protect their PCs from all types of threats and also wondering is anyone doing extra stuff that people may not know about to protect their accounts getting hacked. I've just installed W7 so will get some new anti-virus SW now and just wondering is there any extra steps I should take?

Gmail using https is still far less secure than Hushmail.

Are you using the free version?
