Boards face shared on Marketplace in Forza3

Decided to give the painting system a shot and I was slightly wrong, there is a new system for creating and sharing decals which is at least something. Buying or downloading decals from the marketplace is a nice touch too, though it will devalue the effort put in by the artists a little I think...

Anyhooo... I decided to try it out and I put up a decal of a Boards face (as per our logo) on the marketplace, its called (uninspiringly enough) "Boards Face" and its shared by me, devoreie. Its free to download and use, dont do anything naughty with it please

I was thinking about having a competition of some kind, just for giggles between any painters out there... the availability of high quality decals is a problem but I guess you still have to have a certain eye for design to use them. Anyone interested?

I'm not sure about Forza 3 but in 2 I remember it lets you upload photos you take to the forza motorsport website.

Seems like 3 manages all of that in game.

I've uploaded a pic of a rather unspectacular car taking the Laguna Seca corkscrew in a somewhat more spectacular manner.

btw, theres about 40G on offer for playing with the paint and photo systems and uploading bits and pieces... not too shabby for the G-hunters out there...

I guess the best way to find pic and decal is to search for Boards in the storefront or look at my storefront specifically... I will go see if the pic is uploaded online somewhere...

I've actually created a bunch of sponsor decals for FM2 when I made a replica of the McLaren MP4-23 so I had to replicate all the sponsors. If I had XBLIVE, I'd post up the car but I don't unfortunately

Would anyone know if that F50 GT with the F2007 livery that was in FM2 has been made for FM3?

my version(because im too cheap to buy an r5 ingame.



thats it for me first paint job :P wassnt sure if i shouldve let the orange come upto where i did or stop it off before the bottom of the door

Agreed but we need a decent amount of tiem because with the SSF and some Sooper Secret Projects I'm on at the moment... I get **** all time to paint.

Also, I'm sure Darragh can come up with something from his list of contacts who are always trying to get us to give stuff away, for a prize
I'll ask him.

But yeah... Boards Forza Paint Comp is definitely a winner idea.
