Chorus upc in Monkstown

    Hi

    I rang upc to ask if i could get their broadband-they said no, i could only get their digital tv. Is there anyone in monkstown dublin with chorus ntl broadband?

    Strange, because according to their website you should be able to get it

    I seriously doubt a main objective of a company is "to piss us off" and in turn deny themselves revenue?
    A lot of the time its cases like this that leave an area with only partial avalability .....

    hi it was the same here in dorset street .icould get digital tv but no broadband. ok here is how to check if its in your area go out side your door look up at the wireing. sorry do this in daylight the wireing that brings your ntl feed into the house comes from a main box up on the eves of the house you are looking for new grey cables that will carry the broadband as well as phone and tv if its there your in luck if not it will all be done by the end of next year from the time i rang up to ask if it was in my street to the time it really was in my street to the time it was turned on 6 months i havent looked back since. 20meg bring it on
