    Hey folks

Here's something I'd love to have on my PC, and for the life of me can't seem to find a solution.

Right I've a Crossfire rig, powering two 22" screens, what I'd love to have is a TFT that fits in the front 5.25" bays and on that screen I would like to have Windows Resource Monitor / speedfan

Any ideas on how to do it ?

I think the G15 has that capability on its screen. Don't quote me on that, though.

They come in all shapes and sizes, can eb fully customized to display whatever you want too, from cpu temp, to fan speeds and even things like rss feeds.

Its an utter unmitigated cluster****

A pair of 5.25" bays don't pack a 7" diagonal, so there's no room for a standard-grade LCD in there. If it won't use a standard panel, no-one wants to know, thus a glaring hole in the modding/peripherals market remains eternally unfilled. The 5" LCD used by the PSOne booster pack thingy were perfect but they went out of production years ago and there are virtually no standard screens with an RCA or VGA input that are over 3.5" (4:3) or under 7" (16:9) in size; at least ones under eleventy-seven million euro :( And no, I'm not really talking about a VFD or iMon, they're too limited (mostly text-based solutions) and are really aimed at the HTPC market.

You could always make one yourself, but limiting yourself to the 5.25" bays puts you in the same unenviable position, i.e. sourcing a suitable-sized LCD panel that doesn't cost the flippin' earth. And if you go that route I'd be moving this topic over to T&M ;)
